First we start in Halifax with a Class 158 and a 144. I then got off at Huddersfield to change to 170309 working a Hull - Manchester Piccadilly service. After chaging in Manchester and meeeting David B my next stop was Carlisle where we would meet Jamie, Will, Andy and David C. Carlisle was full of activity with Duchess 6233 and Jubilee 5690. 66411 "Eddie the Engine" made a visit with the Tesco intermodal train heading north (66418 had charge of the opposite service). The usual units including Northern 142s, 156s and 158s, First Scotrail 156s, Virgin 220s, 221s and 390s, and Transpennine 185s. EWS and DRS 66s where hanging around as usual. On our way back after leaving Andy, we stopped off at Preston after a 185 ride where we caught 57310 hauling a 390. After, David B, Jamie, Will and myself left on a Northern Class 158.
